The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) invites adults ages 55 and over to use their life experiences and skills to answer the call of our community and neighbors in need.

Volunteers give anywhere from 1 to 40 hours per week.

In addition to the programs directly provided by Senior Action, Inc. volunteers are placed at 45 partnering stations throughout Adams and Webster counties.

Volunteer activity examples:

RSVP
·Tutoring and mentoring local students
·Guides and docents at local museums and historical societies
·Working with people that have disabilities
·Working in a gift shop
·Answering the telephone, directing visitors
·Visiting shut-ins
·Teaching craft activities
·Assist at local health fairs
·Meal service and clean-up
·Delivery of meals to the homebound
·Blood donation promotion, registration and transportation
·Knit, quilt and sew items for the local community
·Preparation of emergency food orders
